Downtown rally for the WNBA Champs keeps the celebration going as hundreds of fans celebrated with the Detroit Shock’s WNBA Championship.

Taj McWilliams-Franklin was introduced at the rally along with Coach Laimbeer, Katie Smith and Deanna Nolan.

Detroit Mayor Ken Cockrel presented a proclamation from the city to coach Laimbeer, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, Katie Smith and Deanna Nolan at Campus Martius Park.

League Finals MVP Katie Smith presented Mayor Ken Cockrel Jr. with a Shock jersey, and she and coach Bill Laimbeer addressed the boisterous crowd gathered at Campus Martius.
